Railay Beach is the most famous beach in Phang Nga Bay. It is only accessible by boat and is close to the popular resort village of Ao Nang in Krabi province.
Overnight locations to the west of Phuket include the Similan and Surin Islands, further west lie the Andaman Islands of India and to the south there are many island groups stretching for 120 Nautical miles to Langkawi, Malaysia.
